Okay, so now there is a boom in MTK (Mediatek) phones, but little support for is servicing. Most users such as myself find themselves in a real pinch if they seek to do even a simple rom back up of their roms. The common headache is the constant connecting and disconnecting of their MTK phones when they connect it through USB to their computers to use with SP flash tool.
The constant auto connection and disconnecting however is normal because the MTK devices have been designed to work in that way. SO lets see how to easily connect your phone to your PC and us SP flash tool.
1. Download one of the files below according to your operating system.

2. Extract the contents into my documents.
3.Open Device Manager
4.Turn off your phone ten connect your usb cable.
5.In the device manager, a new icon with a name like this MTKxxxxx will appear with a yellow exclamation mark on it.
6.Quickly right click the new MTKxxxx then choose install device driver. A new dialogue will open, click on browse and Navigate to the folder you extracted the files you downloaded to. (you need to be really quick here if this step fails try again)
7. If you did all the steps above, the driver should install nicely with a Com Port name.
